Peadbo is a career development platform that helps rising professionals, students, and entrepreneurs build personal advisory boards and stay connected with mentors and supporters through automated newsletters. Founded by first-generation college graduates, Peadbo launched in Fall 2023 and has since secured paid contracts with institutions like Carnegie Mellon University and KIPP Schools. The company has built strong partnerships, including with the White House Initiative on HBCUs, Techsgiving, NSBE, and 100 Black Men of America. Peadbo was selected for Techstars, a prestigious startup accelerator, and won a pitch competition at SXSW 2024, further validating its mission to close opportunity and wealth gaps through mentorship and community support.
Despite early success, securing funding remains a challenge, requiring the team to operate in a fractional capacity while also working corporate jobs. However, Peadbo continues to grow, with over 1,000 users across multiple countries and more than 5,000 attendees in workshops and training sessions. By leveraging AI, automation, and strategic partnerships, Peadbo is scaling its impact to help more individuals gain the mentorship and professional support they need to succeed.
