Bio

Aixa Elgazwe is a visionary entrepreneur and changemaker, dedicated to expanding economic opportunities for historically marginalized communities. She founded Runwei™ after recognizing the systemic challenges entrepreneurs face in accessing non-debt, non-equity capital. Through Runwei™, she is democratizing access to funding and resources, ensuring that socially and economically disadvantaged founders can thrive.

Prior to launching Runwei™, Aixa founded TrustFundRegistry™, an innovative gift registry platform designed to help BIPOC families build and transfer intergenerational wealth. Her dedication to financial empowerment extends to her volunteer work, where she developed and led an investment education program for underprivileged youth in New York City, equipping teens aged 15-18 with financial literacy and wealth-building strategies.

Aixa’s impact and leadership have earned her prestigious recognition. In 2024, she was selected for Microsoft’s Entrepreneurship for Positive Impact program and the SOCAP 24 Fellowship.
