One year after the anniversary of successfully advocating for the launch of the Congressional Black Innovation Caucus, the Black Innovation Alliance is hosting a national webinar highlighting the role of Black innovation support organizations, entrepreneurs, and VCs in stabilizing the economy, promoting job growth and closing the racial wealth gap. The webinar will also provide an overview of what leaders committed to equity, diversity, and inclusion need to know in light of recent bank collapses and takeovers. In collaboration with the White House on Advancing Educational Equity, Excellence, and Economic Opportunity for Black Americans, attendees will also learn more about federal government programs to support Black innovators. Finally, to close the session, we will hear directly from the organizations transforming how Black entrepreneurs are supported—and the policies needed to create more sustainable ecosystems.
