We are establishing a framework to expand the Greentech supply chains with local businesses and talent pipelines by connecting BIPOC businesses with Prime partners and have already fostered successful new partnerships. Through renewable energy summits, workshops, and panels that serve to educate and connect potential BIPOC businesses to opportunities within these new and growing green tech, clean energy fields, our work has also assisted in creating dialog and pathways with major utility companies and other Greentech manufacturing primes. These efforts allow for the primes, governments and policymakers to re-imagine their approach to product development, distribution and maintenance that would open new doors, allowing for BIPOC businesses to enter into the market and compete equitably for contracts. We hope to expand with the capacity building grant funds to not only solidify our organizational structure, operations and capacity, but also, development feasibility framework for data collection, research and policy-making in support of the innovation district development and streamlined resources and services provided BIPOC businesses that would be served.
