Founded in 2017 by Tanya T. Morris, Mom Your Business (MYB) is a transformative organization based in Philadelphia, aimed at revolutionizing the entrepreneurial landscape for Black and Brown women in the Mid-Atlantic region. Recognizing that Black women, despite being the fastest-growing group of entrepreneurs, face significant funding disparities, Morris leveraged her extensive twenty-year background in non-profit management and experience as a serial entrepreneur to drive change. MYB’s mission is to alleviate poverty through entrepreneurship by equipping Black and Brown women—particularly those over 35—with the essential tools, resources, opportunities, and capital to overcome systemic obstacles and succeed.
