Danicka Brown-Frazier is an entrepreneurial leader with over 20 years of experience in business development, project management, and community impact. As Founder & Chief Wellness Officer of Alkemi, she leads a wellness event production company that bridges ancient herbal wisdom with modern corporate needs while creating economic opportunities for Black entrepreneurs and wellness practitioners.
Drawing from her background in finance and real estate, Danicka has successfully pivoted through multiple industries, consistently creating ventures that combine commercial success with community empowerment. Her entrepreneurial journey began with The Juice Studio in 2010, followed by a successful decade in real estate where she generated $5M+ in annual sales while specializing in first-time homebuyers and community development in Chicago.
After relocating to San Diego, Danicka founded Greenish, which evolved into Alkemi, demonstrating her ability to adapt and scale mission-driven businesses. Under her leadership, Alkemi has secured strategic partnerships with major corporations and community organizations, including the San Diego County Black Chamber of Commerce, while producing high-profile events featuring industry leaders and generating significant media coverage.
A recognized innovator in the Black business community, Danicka has received multiple honors including the 40 under 40 Black Entrepreneurs award and the Coca-Cola Grant for Entrepreneurial Accomplishment for the San Diego region. She currently serves on the boards of Help One Save One and Sister Cities Project, reinforcing her commitment to building economic bridges between communities.
As a BIA grant recipient, Danicka aims to scale Alkemi’s impact by developing standardized corporate wellness programs, implementing comprehensive digital systems, and creating employment opportunities for BIPOC communities. She holds a B.S. in Finance & Economics and is currently pursuing her MBA in Marketing at Hampton University, continually expanding her capacity to drive innovation in the wellness industry while creating pathways for Black entrepreneurship.
