About Organization
Macon GA
MBT Collective (formerly Macon Black Tech) is a catalyst for intentional, inclusive innovation in Middle Georgia. Headquartered in a city where 54% of residents are Black and 25% live in poverty—over double the national rate—we are dedicated to empowering visionary entrepreneurs to create tech-enabled solutions that address local challenges. Our approach goes beyond technology: we close fragmented resource gaps through research initiatives, storytelling, and dynamic programming (such as MaconThon and mentorship programs) that equip local innovators with the networks, tools, and support they need. In doing so, we build bridges and break barriers, positioning Macon as a launchpad for sustainable enterprise and equitable economic growth.
Christele Nicolas-Parham, MBA, is a transformative force at Macon Black Tech.
