Toni Barnes, owner of Building The Boss LLC, Trusted Seal Notary Services LLC, and a self-taught photographer, has approximately five years of experience in supporting marginalized entrepreneurs and fostering an inclusive economy through her work with HUSTLE Winston-Salem. Toni enjoys her role in advancing the organization’s mission and providing essential support to underrepresented entrepreneurs.

Toni also served as Winston-Salem’s Ecosystem Builder In-Residence for Forward Cities’ Black Wall Street Forward state-wide initiative. In this role, she demonstrated her commitment to fostering economic empowerment and community engagement. Most recently, by bringing together approximately 75 local community members to discuss the products of Black Wall Street Forward and propose the future direction of BWSX.
